Dave, the the unichip is out of my mates t2 which he just sold - cost him 1200 odd dollars fitted so he has decided to remove it and sell. The t3 fuel regulater is brand new never used - same as t3 cost around 90 dollars new. It will fit xr8 and pumps the extra fuel required for more performance!!!! I will contact mate tomorrow - may call your mobile!

Cheers
Tim

newxr8,

Could be interested in regulator what pressure does that regulator supply?

I assume the regualtor would fit an i6? I am considering buying a wet nitrous kit and need higher fuel pressure so this would be good

Also, how much for the regulator?

Thanks

Brendan

yeh they do program each one individually, but the way they connect to some cars is different (hence why he is selling it - it wouldnt fit his 4.6L explorer)

so i am just wondering if it will fit my XR8 (ie is his T series the same as my XR8 in the way it connects up?)

Apparently 'chips' actually just plug in to the underside of the ecu in a falcon. If you hasve a looki at it, the ecu will have a sticker or cover over a plug on the bottom of it. If the ecu has the same plug on an I6 as the V8, then it will plug in, same with the T series to the XR8, just need to check it. Mind you this is merely what i have been told so don't take it as gospel. Surely a unichip installer could tell you if you rang them.

whats it worth for the tuner you are getting???

The unichip is not worth $1200 alone.
The unichip to purchase costs $695.00 from memory (im not sure if that is a dealer price or RRP) and to get to the $1200 that is the installation and tuning fee charged by the qualified installer.

After buying this second hand unichip, you will need to pay at least $400 to have it installed. You could be paying up to $600
