i try to press the on button and the others as well. the all the right side steering wheel controls work just fine. on the left side the voice button works fine, but the rest do not do anything, the cruise light never comes on at all. No airbag light, and no check engine light are on. hope this helps. thanks i thought it might be the clockspring, i guess it still could be, but everything else is working fine.

How did you narrow it down to the pcm? Secondly, there are lots and lots of other factors that can keep your cruise control from initiating. Obviously, fuses. Check them all. You never know. Sometimes the "Radio" fuse can be controlling one simple part of the system that you need right now. Check in applicable relays and all switches related. This is a common Ford problem, and have never heard of it being the PCM. I will see if I can do some more research on your system, and get back with you.

Check your brake deactivation switch on your master cylinder. Make sure everything is within spec on it. That is the most common Ford cruise control problem.

Thank you, for your effort, CatSkinner. I know to appreciate. I tested the components, the Navigator from 2004 hasn't a pressure switch. I checked the BPP as follow:
In accordance to the wiring diagram, Pin 1 (LG/RD) and Pin 5 (RD/WH) has to be hot at all times. Checked and yes, they are hot. The other both, Pin 2 (LG) and Pin 6 (RD/LG) are hot, in the moment when i press the pedal. Pin 3 and 4 are unused.
I connected the VCM/IDS at OBD2 there are no DTC´s with reference to ABS, interlock or something else-

I've found a couple of better schematics, they have a litter better detail of the outlying inputs.

My apologies in advance, but I'm going to get detailed as I don't know your level of knowledge. In the first diagram, Verify a solid ground to the speed control relay on wire C207f (G200) and that 12VDC is being passed through the PCM diode. Should have 12 VDC coming in and out of the speed control relay. The deactivator switch should have continuity (0 ohms) across it and the BPPS should be open.

On the second page, if you steering wheel radio switch and the horn works, you've eliminated checking terminals 1 and 5 on the airbag sliding contact, verify from 4 to LB\BK into the steering wheel speed control switch. You've stated that you all ready tested out the switches. Hopefully maybe somebody else can step in if this all checks out.

thank you, for trying to help me. My knowledge is well advanced, i guess. Learned long time ago auto mechanic and now, i´m an aircraft engineer. Do u know where is the speed control relay located? in the CJB? How can i test it?

I have three OEM workshop manuals. Volume 1+2 and the OEM book with the wiring diagrams. The same diagrams as you sent me very kindly.
Since today, i notice a new or maybe old problem:

I don´t know since when, but my Auto Lock doesn´t work although it is activated. And the Auto Lock system is dependent from the vehicle speed. May this can help to find a solution.
I checked very everything again, can´t found any faults.

unfortunately not.

According to the workshop manual should be able to perform a self test on the speed control servo on an 04. If you can't find it I will try and post up instructions for a manual self test. Do all the brake lights work? Especially the one in the lift gate?
Did u mean this self test?:

After pressing the last button (cancel), the lamp will glow once.
