I'm at a loss. Before I have to take this to the dealer I need to know what you guys think is going on. My expedition starts FINE so I don't think it's an IAC (Idle Air Control) because I had to replace that on my '99 and I remember what that was like.
Once the engine is warmed up, if you let the truck sit parked, or if you're driving and you stop at a light the truck will rough idle and eventually stall out. It will start up fine, and so far has not stalled at normal driving speeds. In the last 48 hours I have replaced: Alternator, oil & filter, air filter, fuel filter, cleaned all electrical connections with spray down.... There is a "Service Engine Soon" light on. But that was on for 2 weeks before this started happening, so I don't think it's related. I use regular unleaded 87 Octane. The truck has just over 67,000 miles on it. 2-wheel drive, no modifications.
The worst thing is I also spent money on Platinum Warranty Corp. extended warranty and they have since Filed chapter 7, so I'm open to any suggestions on Extended Warranty companies with a good track record. Thanks.
