Ok, so I got a car with the P0351 code.
The engine is the 3.0 v6 with a single coil pack.
I'm wondering what to do first.

Copied/pasted:
The P0351 DTC is seen when the ignition coil A primary or secondary circuit has a malfunction. The engine control module is looking for specific signals from the ignition coil A and when these signals are not seen the ECU sets the Check Engine Light. The Check Engine Light will be illuminated on the dashboard.

Anyhow.......

I know that the ECU has 3 "Drivers" which command the negative ground pulse event to occur for the coil pack. Each driver (basically) commands two spark plugs. I also have a P0306 code..........Misfire cylinder #6. Since I only have a #6 misfire, I assume that all three Drivers are operating.........because a failed Driver for cylinder 6 would also cause a misfire on cylinder 3.

I'm wondering if I have two codes or one code causing a false positive resulting in the second code presenting.

I have a noid light and can check for fuel injector pulse........thinking a bad injector could be the root cause of the misfire code.

I have an inline spark tester and can test for spark between the coil and spark plug wire. I can also test for spark between spark plug and spark plug wire.

What other tests can I perform trying to narrow down the problem as quickly as possible. I'm pretty good with a wrench and have enough tools to get just about any job completed successfully. I just hate doing the diagnostics stuff (but I do have programs, scanners and AllData. I just need to complete this repair as soon as possible because I have two motor replacements and 3 transmission jobs to do (All Chevy's).

Any help would be fantastic. Thank You.
