Hello and 66 Galaxie Grill Question

Hi, I'm Anthony in Seattle. I recently purchased a '66 Galaxie Custom 500 I'm fixing and need to replace the grill on the car. This will not be a correct restoration so I'm curious what other year grills fit and if the other model grills like the XL fit as well, or if I have to stick with just the Custom 500 grill?

Try Stan the Ford man, telephone 360-687-1216, I believe he is somewhere in the Mt. Vernon or Bellingham area. He might have a grill. Suppose to have lots of galaxie parts for years 1959-1968.

Anthony--any Ford [Custom-Galaxie-XL] will fit--you must use the complete grill of the model you're using--the difference is parking lights and grill emblyms--some had 2 parking lights--some 4--bob

Thanks gentleman. I found a good grille but will hang onto this
Stan's number as I'm sure there will be many other things I'll need.
Pulling the bumpers today to send off to the chrome shop and with
a little luck the body man / painter will get down to business in a
couple of weeks.
