'04 Grand Marquis heater blower stopped working. Does not work at any speed, which I think eliminates the motor resistor as the fault. Car has EATC, but I use manual mode. Related fuses & relay under the hood check ok. What else could have died to cause this, other than a bad blower or an elec. connector come loose? If there’s a blower motor controller, where is it located?

Thanks, Dick

Best way is to check power and ground to the blower. That car does not use a resistor,it has a blower motor speed controller for the EATC. It's under the hood on the passenger side. Without the pinpoint test will be hard to truly diagnose but a good tip is to locate it and tap on it with a screwdriver and many times the blower will come on. Looks very similar to a resister.
